There are many large ranches in Southern and Western Texas that have been subdivided into smaller tracts and put together specifically for hunting properties. The most importatnt factor with any of these properties is the water supply. There could also be by-laws governing the use of types of fences as well as the water (some of these properties have community water available for all owners in the sub-division). While some potential investors view these by-laws negatively, they truly are enforced for the protection of the wildlife and community.
